BROUSSARD,  FLORENCE 

Florence J. Broussard, 89, a native and a resident of Franklin, died at 10:55 
a.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Jones Funeral 
Home in Franklin. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral 
home, 

with burial in Mt. Zion Methodist Cemetery in Glencoe. 

She is survived by her sons, Anderson Broussard Jr., of Compton, Calif., and 
Merker L. Broussard, of Glencoe; adopted son, Edward Lockett, of New Orleans; 
daughter, Deloris B. Colbert, of Los Angeles, Calif.; brother, Wilfred Edwards, 
of Four Corners; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-
great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Jackson and Stella Sorrell 
Jackson; husband, Anderson Broussard Sr.; two sons; and a daughter. 

Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
