Verna Charpentier, 53, a native and resident of Cut Off, went to be with the 
Lord on September 14, 2013.

Visitation will take place at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano on Thursday, 
September 19 from 5 p.m. till 9 p.m. and on Friday, September 20 from 8 a.m. 
till 11 a.m. service at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off 

with burial in Sacred Heart Catholic Church cemetery in Cut Off.

She is survived by mother, Valerie Charpentier; sisters, Connie Bouziga and 
husband James, Penny Williams and husband Kirk, Paula Mejia and husband Gable, 
Melissa Pitre, Arlene Charpentier and Lisa Charpentier; brothers, Wade 
Charpentier and wife Michelle, Hank Charpentier and wife Gloria, Lance 
Charpentier and wife Rachel and Scott Charpentier; 18 nieces and nephews and 7 
great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Landry Charpentier; grandparents, 
Edwin and Evelia “Bee” Cheramie and Levy and Justia Charpentier; nephews, Colby 
Charpentier and Blake Valenzula.

Mrs. Verna was an avid bingo player and loved casinos. She was loved by all and 
will be truly missed.

Falgout Funeral Home of Galliano was in charge of the arrangements.
