Paul Peter Chauvin, Jr, 80, died Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at 4:50 AM. He 
was a native and resident of Theriot, LA.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 
PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Friday, September 6, 2013 from 9:00 AM 
until Service time at St. Eloi Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will 
be held on Friday, September 6, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. Eloi Catholic Church. 

Interment in St. Eloi Catholic Church Cemetery.

He is survived by his, Daughters, Paulette Chauvin Johnson and husband David 
and Patricia Rhodes Boller and husband Alan, Son, Travis Paul Chauvin, Daughter 
in law, Janice Chauvin, Grandchildren, Bryant, Carmen, and John Pierre Chauvin, 
Nick and Adam Johnson, Michelle Shearer, Heather and Jennifer Durant, 5 Great 
Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild, Brother, Gerald Chauvin Sisters, 
Sally Gautreaux and Patricia Shultz.

He was preceded in death by his, Wife, Ernestine Fruhbauer Chauvin, Parents, 
Paul Peter Chauvin, Sr and Susan Theriot Chauvin, Sisters, Jessie Ball, Grace 
Callahan and Pauline Marks.

Paul was a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church. He was a member of The 
Louisiana Cattleman's Association. He was retired from Terrebonne Parish 
Consolidated Government. He was an avid outdoorsman and also enjoyed gardening 
and cooking. Paul was most at peace when riding on his property among his 
cattle.
