Edward Paul Dominique, 85, a native of Gheens and resident of Larose, died at 
7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013. 

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at St. Anthony 
Catholic Church in Gheens. A Mass of Christian burial will be at noon Saturday 
at the church, 

with burial in St. Hilary Resurrection Memorial Park Cemetery in Mathews. 

He is survived by his wife, Rowena Richoux Dominique; sons, Larry, Phil and 
Lonnie Dominique; stepsons, Tommy J., Wade A. and Alvin Richoux; daughters, 
Joan (Michael) Autin and Donna Dominique; stepdaughters, Beverly Melancon, 
Melissa Randal and Rochelle Curole; brother, Jimmy Dominique; sisters, Helen 
Hartman and Mildred Dufrene; 16 grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren; 22 great-
grandchildren; and 23 step-great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jane Dominique; parents, Adlas and 
Oceanna Sanchez Dominique; brother, Shedrick Dominique; sisters, Ethel and Mary 
Dominique; step-grandchildren, Alvin Jr. and Caitlin Richoux; and step-great-
grandchildren, Dylan and Jolie Richoux. 

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off is in charge of arrangements.
