Felanise “Phyllis” Cheramie Drolla, 86, a native of Golden Meadow, and a 
resident of Slidell, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at 11:45 a.m. 
in Slidell.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. service on Saturday, September 
21, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow 

with burial to follow at Cheramie Cemetery.

She is survived by her sons Danny Drolla, Philip Drolla; daughters Barbara 
Hebert and husband Bill, Catherine Ping, Willie Ann Cheramie and husband Oris 
“Jay”; brothers Jasper and George Cheramie; sisters Jane Schuerman and Joyce 
Rodriguez; 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 4 great-great 
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband John Drolla; parents, Elie and Evenola 
Lefort Cheramie; brothers Alex, Dudley and Ashton Cheramie and one great 
grandchild.
