Religious services will be held on Wednesday, September 25 at 11 a.m. at 
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off for Lawrence J. Falgout, Sr., 89, a native 
of Golden Meadow and resident of Cut Off, who passed away on September 22, 2013 
at 5 p.m.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. till 11 a.m. service at the funeral home with 

burial at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.

He is survived by companion, Mary Jane Cheramie; daughters, Carolyn Falgout 
Angelette, Sherry Falgout Cantrelle and Anna Falgout Galjour; sisters, Emily 
Griffin, Elda Griffin and Mary Guidry; 12 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren 
and 3 great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by wife, Berline Callais Falgout; parents, Hermagile 
and Luccria Granier Falgout; son, Lawrence J. Falgout, Jr.; brothers, Clamcy 
Falgout and Dolifore Falgout; and sisters, Estelle Folse and Helen Anselmi.
