HICKERSON, WALTER 

Walter Hickerson, 59, a native of Kentwood and resident of Terrebonne Parish, 
died at 3:40 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Friday at Jones Funeral Home 
in Houma. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, 

with burial in Halfway Cemetery. 

He is survived by his sister, Eva Ruffin Stevenson; and brothers, Eddie and 
Frank Ruffin Sr. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Lizze Mae Hickerson Ruffin; 
and sister, Vera Ruffin. 

Jones Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
