Longboy, 98, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Cut Off passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2013. Visitation will be held at Samart-Mothe Funeral Chapel in Cut Off on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until funeral time. Funeral services will be held in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. with burial to follow in Dardar Cemetery. She is survived by her son, August "Butch" Williams and wife Sharon; sister-in- law, Cathy Williams; nephews, Whitney Dardar, Joseph Williams, Henry Williams; nieces, Hope Larios, Joan Billiot; great nephews, Heath Larios, Hector Larios, Jr.; great nieces, Brenda Dardar Robichaux, Samantha Doucet, April Guidry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rufino Longboy; companion, Clayman Anselmi; father, Camille Williams; mother, Leoda Dardar Williams; brother, Joseph Williams; sisters, Nora Billiot, Rita Williams, Bridgette Williams. Venicia grew up on a houseboat along the banks of the bayous of southeast Louisiana. Despite having no formal education, she moved to New Orleans and became a successful business owner in the French Quarter. During his 20+ years Army career, Rufino and Venicia traveled the world. She was outspoken and generous and will be missed by those she touched. Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. ======================
