Chameara K. Newton, 34, a native and resident of Terrebonne Parish, died at 
1:52 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013. 

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Jones Funeral Home in Houma and 
from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at First Baptist Church in Schriever. 
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. 

She is survived by her mother, Constancenella Newton; sons, De'von and De'shuan 
Newton; daughter, Daeyanna Newton; brother, Todd Christopher Coleman; and 
sister, Louise Bias. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Norman Newton Jr.; and sister, Nicole 
Shuntel Newton. 

Jones Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
