REED, BESSIE 

Bessie W. Reed, 69, a native of Lafourche Parish, died Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013. 

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at Morning Star 
Baptist Church in Thibodaux. Funeral services will be at noon Thursday at the 
church, 

with burial in Morning Star Baptist Church cemetery in Thibodaux. 

She is survived by her parents, Simuel Williams Sr. and Mildred Waller 
Williams; children, Murray Reed, of New Orleans, Gechall Reed, of New Orleans, 
and Marie Reed of Houston, Texas; sibling, Simuel (Sun Cha Kim) Williams Jr., 
of San Antonio, Texas; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. 

D.W. Rhodes Funeral Home in New Orleans is in charge of arrangements.
