ROBINSON,  ETHEL 

Ethel Robinson, age 83, a native and resident of Franklin, died at 9:20 p.m. 
Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013. 

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at Greater St. Matthews Baptist 
Church in Houma, and from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Lighthouse 
Missionary Baptist church in Franklin. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. 
Saturday at the church, 

with burial in St. Jules Baptist Cemetery. 

She is survived by her sons, Elijah Jr., Everette, Donald, Ronald, Glen, John 
Paul, Carl and Lionel Robinson; daughters, Truminnie Wiggins, Glenda Alexander, 
Connie Robinson, Ruby Robinson, Shawna Jones and Lillian Gant; 44 
grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Josephine Lewis Provost; 
husband, Elijah Robinson Sr.; brothers, Walter, Edward, Joseph and Harry 
Provost; sisters, ReAlice Provost and Vivian Durr; two grandchildren; and one 
great-grandchild. 

Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
