Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at Third Zion Baptist Church in Raceland. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in Third Zion Baptist Church cemetery in Raceland. He is survived by his wife, Julia Smith; sons, Albert Smith Jr., Alfred Folse, Lionel Folse, Timothy Williams and Shawn Bradley; daughters, Mona Faye Walker, Tammy Turner, Melanie Garner, Patrice Steward and Antoinette Guidroz; sisters, Gladys Triggs and Bernice Marts; and brothers, the Rev. Nolan Smith Sr. and Howard Smith Sr. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Elnora Smith; grandparents, Bertha Smith, Louis Smith, Benjamin Reado and Frances Reado; and son, Leonard Folse. Kennedy Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements. ======================
