MARGARET ELIZABETH THOMAS, homemaker, she died Tuesday Sept. 3, 2013 at West 
Houston Medical Center in Houston, TX. 
She was 62, a native of Napoleonville, LA and a resident of Houston, TX. 

Visitation at Williams & Southall Funeral Home, Napoleonville, LA from 2:00pm 
to 4:30pm Friday, Sept. 13, 2013. Visiting at Nelson Chapel AME, Napoleonville, 
LA from 9:00am to Religous Services at 11:00am Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013 
conducted by Rev. Floyd Womack. 

Burial in Nelson Chapel AME cemetery, Napoleonville. 

Survived by her husband, Lawrence Thomas, Jr. of Houston, TX; her mother, 
Camella Berry of Napoleonville, LA; 3 daughters, Nichol (Godfrey) Moody of 
Lutcher, LA, Chantelle Thomas of St. James, LA, and Felicia Thomas of Houston, 
TX; 2 sons, Lawrence Thomas, III of Houston, TX, and James Thomas of 
Paincourtville, LA; 2 sisters, Lucille and Callie Berry both of Napoleonville, 
LA; 2 brothers, Vincent Gaines of Napoleonville, LA, and Michael Gaines of 
Morgan City, LA; Also 21 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and a host of 
nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Preceded in death by her father, James Cunnikin; 1 son, Roland Harris, Jr.; 1 
grandson, Christopher Ward, Jr; both maternal and paternal grandparents.
