Rudy Raphael Aucoin, 77, a native of Bourg and resident of Houma, died at 9:37 
a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at St. Ann Catholic 
Church. Liturgy of the Word will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, 

with burial in St. Ann Catholic Church cemetery. 

He is survived by his wife, Mary Alice G. Aucoin, of Houma; sons, Berney C. 
Aucoin and wife, Janie, of Houston, Texas, and Kurt R. Aucoin and wife, Phylis, 
of MacDonald, Pa.,; grandchildren, Talbot, Patrick, Sarah Beth, Colette and 
Emily Aucoin and Stacey Martinez; brothers, Roger Aucoin and wife, Bobbie, of 
Bogalusa, and David Aucoin and wife, Sheila, of Bourg; special friends, Kim 
Spence and Ashli and Blaise Bernard; and a host of nieces, nephews and close 
friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Irving Joseph Aucoin and Phyllis 
Rogers Aucoin; and brother, Richard C. Aucoin. 

Rudy was a licensed land surveyor. He was a parishioner of St. Ann Catholic 
Church and served in the U.S. Army. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your 
choice in his name. 

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
