Ethel Bacon, 78, of Houma, passed away Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013, at Bayou Vista 
Nursing Home in Bunkie. 

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Escudé Funeral 
Home in Mansura. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral 
home. 

She is survived by her sons, Tommy Bacon, of Mansura, and John A. Bacon, of 
Houma; daughter Donna Bacon, of Hooper, Utah; brothers, Steve Lemoine, of 
Evergreen, and Author Lemoine Jr., of Bunkie; sisters, Judy Daigrepont, of 
Prairieville and Janice Guathier, of Marksville; four grandchildren; and five 
great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eual P. Bacon; parents, Author and 
Mable Aymond Lemoine; brothers, Burton, Cubert and Houston Lemoine; and 
sisters, Bernice Gauthier, Frida Firmin and Ruth Armand. 

Escudé Funeral Home in Mansura is in charge of arrangements.
