Jesse Shane Barnett, 41, a native of Kosciusko, Miss., and resident of Houma, 
died Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013. 

Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home. He is 
survived by his mother, Clara Petrasek; stepfather, Allen Petrasek; companion, 
Brandi Falgout; daughter, Emma Claire Barnett; sister, Fran Barnett; niece, 
Jessica Barnett; stepdaughter, Kelsey Falgout; and grandson, Karter Falgout. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Clinton Barnett; grandparents, 
Rupert and Mable Sanders and Robert and Connie Barnett; and niece, Rachel 
Claire Barnett. 

He was a member of First Baptist Church in Houma. He was a very giving and good 
person, a wonderful son, brother, father and uncle. He always thought of others 
before himself. 
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, sports and car racing. He was a devoted father and 
uncle who will be deeply missed by all his family and friends. He loved life 
and his family. 

Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
