Vivian Levron Belanger, 86, a native of Pointe-aux-Chenes and lifetime resident 
of Houma, who was staying with her daughter, Debra Domangue, in Monroe, for the 
last seven years after suffering a stroke, died Monday, Oct. 28, 2013. 

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9 
a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic 
Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, 

with a private burial. 

She is survived by her husband, Raymond J. Belanger; sons, Clark Belanger and 
wife, Sandra, and Doyle Belanger and wife, Deborah; daughters, Debra Domangue 
and husband, Byron, and Deidre Hemstreet and husband, David; grandchildren, 
Blaine Belanger, Bryan Belanger Jr., Byron Domangue Jr., Scott Domangue, Dylan 
Belanger, Ethan Hemstreet and Eliot Hemstreet; great-grandchildren, Brooke, 
Sydney and Brayden Belanger and Avery Morgan Domangue; step-great-
grandchildren, Taylor and J.B. Templeton; brother, Elias "Toot" Levron and 
wife, the late Shirley Levron; and sister, Nancy Levron Hutchinson Hebert and 
husband, James. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Augustin Levron and Naise Dupre 
Levron; son, Bryan Charles Belanger; and grandson, Brent Belanger. 

She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and celebrating the holidays 
and welcoming everyone into her home. 
Mom was always a good listener and had many friends.
