Edmond J. Bergeron, 79, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Houma, died 
Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Monday at Samart Funeral 
Home. Funeral services will be at noon Monday at the funeral home, 

with burial in Rogers Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Eschete Bergeron; son, Brian Bergeron and 
wife, Susan; daughters, Connie Rogers and fiance, Paul Duval, Lori Tewalt and 
Allison Bergeron and husband, Roy; brother, Floyd Bergeron and wife, Josephine; 
sisters, Betty Arceneaux and husband, Clydis "Click" and Stella Thibodeaux and 
husband, David; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Telesia Bergeron; sister, 
Marie Bergeron Gilbert; grandchildren, Michelle Bergeron and Ashleigh Rogers; 
and great-grandchild, Emma Grace Laurence.
