Macedonia Brown, 63, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, died 
Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Monday at New St. Matthew's 
Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, 

with burial in Crescent Farm Cemetery. 

She is survived by her brothers, David (Margaret) and Willie (Eldorado) Brown, 
of Houma; and sister, Daisy Short, of Houma. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, James "Jimmy" and Beulah Durkins 
Brown; brothers, Clarence and Joseph Brown; and sisters, Ethel "Verline" Myles 
and Willie Mae Harvey. Gertrude Geddes Willis Funeral Home is in charge of 
arrangements.
