Eve Maizie Rome Cambre, 80, a native of Vacherie and resident of Laplace, 
passed away Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at Our Lady of 
Peace Catholic Church in Vacherie. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 
a.m. Wednesday at the church, 

with burial in Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church cemetery in Vacherie. 

She is survived by her husband, Maurice Price Cambre; children, Terry Paul 
Cambre and wife, Rita Webb Cambre, Curtis James Cambre and wife, Wanda Cambre, 
and Jeffrey Anthony Cambre; sister, Mary Agnes Rome Lafontaine; five 
grandchildren, Crystal, Robbie, Jammie, Terisha and Corey; great-grandchildren, 
Angelica, Alexis, Anabelle, Draven, Katelynn, Emma and Brayden; and devoted 
friend, Allen J. Marcel. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marie Emelia Rome and Lucien Joseph 
Rome; grandson, Troy; sisters, Mary Alice Rome Hymel, Marie Enola Rome; and 
brother, Adam Rome. 

Rose Lynn Funeral Services in Lutcher is in charge of arrangements.
