Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2013/f1310.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Evelyn "Toot" Blanchard Charpentier, 86, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Gonzales, died at 1:53 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in St. Joseph Catholic Church cemetery in Chauvin. She is survived by her children, Kathy LeBouef and husband, Leroy P LeBouef Sr., Joseph W. Charpentier Jr. and Lisa Boquet; grandchildren, Leroy P LeBouef Jr., Sharon L Russell and Laurine Russell, Troy LeBouef, Vera Duplessis and husband, Danny Duplessis Sr., Trina Browning, Jeremy Boquet and his fiancee, Erin McMahon and Eric Charpentier; great-grandchildren, David Russell, Sydnie Duplessis, Alyson LeBouef, Stevie Duplessis, Brandy Browning, Danny Duplessis Jr., Sophia Charpentier and Sadie Duplessis; brother, Gurvis "Go" Blanchard; and sisters, Ena Savoie and Lucy Chauvin. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alexander Blanchard and Therese Blanchard; loving husband, Joseph W Charpentier Sr.; brother, Roland "Kick" Blanchard; and sisters, Betty Babin and Emma "Snooky" Battise. Evelyn was a loving wife and mother. She was an active caregiver who enjoyed being a grandmother to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She worked at Indian Ridge Canning Company and Sportsman's Paradise. She enjoyed an active social life playing bingo and pokeno and volunteering at the Oaks of Houma while her spouse was a resident. She made cakes, jelly and dolls as fundraisers for St. Joseph Catholic Church for the Lagniappe Fair. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. The family would like to thank the Hospice Associates for all the help they provided Evelyn in her final months. Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales is in charge of arrangements. ======================
