Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2013/f1310.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Therease Percle Chauvin, born Jan. 29, 1932, a native of Chackbay and resident of Thibodaux, passed away peacefully in her home at 4:45 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11, 2013. She wished to have no wake or funeral services. Burial will be held at a later date in St. John the Evangelist Cemetery. She is survived by her daughters, Penny Chauvin and Noelee Chauvin Brooks; grandchildren, Dr. Brandon Brooks and wife, Natasha, of Birmingham Ala., Beau Brooks and wife, Michelle, of Thibodaux, and Jamilyn Ramirez Johnson and husband, David, of Gonzales; great-grandchildren, Ben, Francesca "Ches", Ramey, and Mary-Kate Brooks and Remi Johnson; sisters, Joyce Naquin, Geraldine Shewmaker, AnnaDell Hebert and Marilyn Bourgeois, of Thibodaux; brothers, Phillip Percle, of Chauvin, and Albert Percle, of Richwood, Texas; brother-in- law, Danny Chauvin, of Bayou Blue; son-in-law, Ralph Ramirez, of Gonzales, and feline companion, Lucky Boy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Ivy Percle and Bernadette Oncale Percle; her husband and love of her life, LeRoy A. Chauvin; most beloved daughter, Robin Chauvin Ramirez; and pup, Love. Therease was an Auxilian at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center for several years and a homemaker. Her favorite vocation was being Maw Maw Tee, caring for her grandchildren. "We'll be loving you always! Not for just an hour, not for just a day, not for just a year, but ALWAYS, Mama, Maw Maw Tee, and Aunt Tee!" The family would like to thank the staff of Thibodaux Regional Home Health, the staff of Haydel Memorial Hospice and Craig Pate for their wonderful care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38005 or HOPE for Animals, P.O. Box 134, Thibodaux, LA 70302.
