Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden. Graveside services will be at noon Tuesday in Toole Cemetery in Toole, Texas. Brother Stewart Childress will officiate. He is survived by his son, Richard Wilson Curlin Jr. and wife, Lisa, of Houma; daughters, Terye Curlin Kirkland and husband, Dale, of Minden, Bridget Curlin Boyer and fiance, David Stinnett, of Apache Junction, Arizona, and Penni Curlin Lapeyrouse and husband, Mark, of Missouri City, Texas; sister-in-law, Betty Frances Curlin, of Royce City, Texas; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil Ernest and Mittie Lambert Curlin; sister, Bettie Belle Curlin; brother, Edgar Ernest Curlin; and grandson, Scott Allen Curlin. He graduated from Terrell High School in Terrell, Texas, in 1948 and worked for United Gas Pipeline Company for 33 years. He retired as superintendent. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Children's Hospital in New Orleans or any charity. Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden is in charge of arrangements. ======================
