Gene Dalton III, 49, a native of Houma and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away 
Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013. 

Burial was in Resthaven Cemetery in Baton Rouge. 

He is survived by his wife, Amy Dalton; children, Emma and Hagan; parents, Gene 
Dalton Jr. and Norma Driskill Ehrhardt; sister, Lisa Ortego; nephew and niece, 
Andrew and Leigh Morgan Ortego; and grandmothers, Stella Dalton and Myrtle 
Driskill. 

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Gene Dalton Sr. and Ira Driskill. 

He was a USL graduate and a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. He loved 
the outdoors, playing golf, hunting and fishing with family and friends. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cancer Services of Baton 
Rouge
