Russell Glenn DeHart Sr., 48, a native and resident of Houma, died at 6 a.m. 
Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013. 

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 8 a.m. until funeral time 
Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at 
the funeral home, 

with burial in St. Eloi Catholic Church Cemetery. 

He is survived by his companion, Hollie Dean and daughter, Kiah; first wife, 
Jeanne DeHart; sons, Russell DeHart Jr. and wife, Stacey, and Austin DeHart; 
daughter, Danielle Little and husband, T-Gary; brothers, Desire DeHart Sr. and 
companion, Stephanie, Preston DeHart and wife, Rebecca, Kenneth DeHart and 
companion, Tammy, and Chad DeHart and wife, Chasidy, sisters, Rita Duplantis, 
Brenda Porche and husband, Johnny Sr., Penny Lirette and companion, Gary, Rinda 
Matherne and companion, Richard, Oledia DeHart and husband, William DeHart Jr., 
and Betsy Matherne and husband, Lynn John; grandchildren, Braxton and Abigail 
DeHart and Calley Little; and numerous nieces, nephews, and godchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Desire DeHart and Nora Boudreaux 
DeHart; and sister, Bertha Parfait. 

He enjoyed bass fishing, crabbing, and spending time with his family and 
friends. 

The family would like to thank Haydel Hospice for the love and care provided to 
the family during their time of need.
