Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church cemetery in Pointe-aux- Chenes. He is survived by his sons, Rickie Dupre and wife, Linda, and Karel Dupre; daughters, Dinah Dupre and fiance, Steve Rodrigue, Wanda Pitre and husband, Daniel "Redbird" and Debbie Dupre; brothers, Everard Dupre and wife, Kathleen, and Archie Dupre and wife, Elwanda; sisters, Janise Blanchard and husband, Gurvis, and Mona Bourg and husband, Jerry; grandchildren, Monica Blanchard, Joshua Dupre and fiancee, Raynna Hebert, Brittany Malone, Charlene Pitre and Joey Malone; and great-grandchildren, Morgan and Brad Parfait, Toni Moreira and Baleigh Malone. He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Clonise Dupre; spouse, Ouida Mae Dupre; brother, Sherwin Dupre; and grandson, Jared Naquin. He was a parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Pointe-aux- Chenes. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a dedicated employee of LeBeouf Bros. Towing for 46 years and thought of them as his family. He was a member of the Pointe-aux-Chenes Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed his family, golfing, casino trips and being on the water.
