Harmon Joseph Dupre, 79, a native of Houma and resident of Bourg, died at 4:15 
a.m. Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013. 

Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9 
a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. A 
Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, 

with burial in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church cemetery in Pointe-aux-
Chenes. 

He is survived by his sons, Rickie Dupre and wife, Linda, and Karel Dupre; 
daughters, Dinah Dupre and fiance, Steve Rodrigue, Wanda Pitre and husband, 
Daniel "Redbird" and Debbie Dupre; brothers, Everard Dupre and wife, Kathleen, 
and Archie Dupre and wife, Elwanda; sisters, Janise Blanchard and husband, 
Gurvis, and Mona Bourg and husband, Jerry; grandchildren, Monica Blanchard, 
Joshua Dupre and fiancee, Raynna Hebert, Brittany Malone, Charlene Pitre and 
Joey Malone; and great-grandchildren, Morgan and Brad Parfait, Toni Moreira and 
Baleigh Malone. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Clonise Dupre; spouse, Ouida 
Mae Dupre; brother, Sherwin Dupre; and grandson, Jared Naquin. 

He was a parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Pointe-aux-
Chenes. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He 
was a dedicated employee of LeBeouf Bros. Towing for 46 years and thought of 
them as his family. He was a member of the Pointe-aux-Chenes Knights of 
Columbus. He enjoyed his family, golfing, casino trips and being on the water. 

Special thanks goes to Dr. Cinnater, Dr. Abben, St. Joseph Hospice and the 
nurses of the fifth floor at TGMC.
