Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2013/f1310.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Priscilla Evans Freeman, 67, a native of Napoleonville and resident of Houma, died at 8:05 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. until funeral time Monday at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Paul "Chippy" Freeman; sons, Tracy Freeman and wife, Heather, of Chelsea, Ala., and Darren Freeman and wife, Becky, of Birmingham, Ala.; grandchildren, Justin Sims, and Bryce, Carson, Justin and Katie Freeman; sister, Kay Stoufflet; and brother, Michael Evans. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Jefferson Evans and Millie Gros Evans. She was a teacher in the Terrebonne Parish school system for 35 years. She began her teaching career at Dularge Elementary School, the moved to Dularge Middle School. She then transferred to Houma Junior High School until retiring in 2008. She was an active parishioner and Eucharistic Minister for many years at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. ======================
