Joey James Fullilove, 47, a native and resident of Larose, passed away Friday, 
Oct. 18, 2013.

Funeral services were Monday at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church,

with burial in Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Allison Blanchard Fullilove; daughter, 
Kayla Fullilove and companion, David Fournet; son, Josh Fullilove; brother, 
Timmy Fullilove and wife, Amy; mother, Bryska Fullilove Benoit; stepfather, 
Newman Benoit; grandparents, Clyde and Joyce Fullilove, Emma Barrios; unborn 
granddaughter, Jemma; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde "Chumpy" Fullilove; grandfather, 
Jimmy Barrios; and uncle, Billy Barrios.

Joey was head of the Radiology Deptartment at Lady of the Sea General Hospital 
for 15 years, before establishing his own successful business, Complete 
Occupational Health Services. Joey devoted most of his life to his family and 
the success of his business. He was a dedicated father, a spirited coach who 
loved feeding people and was looking forward to being a grandfather for the 
first time. 

The family would like to thank Dr. Jody Plaisance and the numerous doctors and 
nurses at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center. They would also like to thank the 
many friends and family members who supported them tirelessly throughout this 
trying time.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off is in charge of arrangements.
