Mark Gerard Guidry Sr., 62, a native and resident of Houma, died at 6:45 a.m. 
Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013. 

Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until funeral time Friday at Chauvin Funeral 
Home. A prayer service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. 

A private burial will be held by the family at a later date. 

He is survived by his son, Mark Guidry Jr., of Houma; daughters, Natalie Guidry 
Frederick and husband, Barry, of Covington, Nikki Guidry, of Houma, and Heidi 
Guidry Saint and husband, David, of Houma; sisters, Jaqueline Cenac and 
husband, Arlen, of Houma, and Shirley Vaughn and late husband, Frank, of Belle 
Chase; and grandchildren, Chloe Guidry, Kayleigh Collins, Connor and Carter 
Frederick, Baylen Miller and Abby and Haden Saint. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Loretta Guidry; and brother, 
Dale Guidry. 

He loved being on the water and fishing and cooking with his family and 
friends. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. 

Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
