Rosemary Vizier Guidry, 84, a native of Galliano and resident of Cut Off, 
passed away Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013 in Cut Off. 

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until funeral time 
Wednesday at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano. A Mass of Christian burial will 
be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off 

with burial in the church cemetery. 

She is survived by her son, Freddy Guidry Jr. and wife, Charlotte; 
grandchildren, Simon Guidry and wife, Stephanie, Tracy Angelette and husband, 
Neil, and Sandy Guidry; great-grandchildren, Garrett, Peyton, Luke, Natalie, 
Nicholas and Mark; great-great-grandchild, Brooklynn; and sisters, Jane Vizier 
Rouchon and Rose Vizier Galjour. 

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Freddy Guidry Sr.; second 
husband, James Heckrodt; parents, Odee and Leonica Charpentier Vizier; 
brothers, Morris, Valcour, Jimmie and Tommie Vizier; and sisters, Verna 
Callais, Odette Thibodaux and Mary Gilbert. 

She was a teacher and guidance counselor for 33 years in the Lafourche Parish 
school system. 

Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
