Carroll A. Mire, 76, a native and resident of Thibodaux, was born Dec. 25, 
1936, and passed away Friday, Oct. 18, 2013. 

In honor of his wishes, private graveside services will be held. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Nita Perez Mire; children, 
Sharon Martino and husband, Joseph A. Martino, Roslyn Brock and husband, Bryan 
Brock Sr., and Shannon "Dutch" Mire; brothers, Wilton Jr., Bobby, and Wayne 
Mire; and grandchildren, Toby Adams, Bryan Jr. "Beau" Brock, and Madison 
Martino. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilton Mire Sr. and Theresa Hoffman 
Mire; and sister, Myrtle Mire. 

He was a long time member of the Protector No. 2 Fire Department and also 
served on the Rescue Squad for Thibodaux. 

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
