Marie Guidry Normand, 84, a native and resident of Montegut, died Friday, Oct. 
11, 2013. 

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church in Montegut. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. 
Tuesday at the church, 

with burial in Sacred Heart Catholic Church cemetery in Montegut. 

She is survived by her son, Donald Normand and wife, Melanie; daughter, Sherry 
Neil and husband, Herdis; sisters, Velma Boudreaux and Celina Pinell; 12 
grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Julian and Edna Guidry; daughter, 
Connie Rodriguez; and sister, Rose Naquin. 

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
