Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2013/f1310.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Levie Bailey Oncale, 80, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, was born and raised on Four Mile Bayou, a native of Napoleonville, passed away Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013. Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at St. Anne Catholic Church in Napoleonville. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in St. Anne Catholic Church cemetery in Napoleonville. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, George Oncale Sr., who devotedly cared for her for many years, residing Down the Canal in Napoleonville; children, Vanessa Oncale Simoneaux and George Oncale Jr.; grandchildren whom she loved and cared for, Leo Simoneaux and wife, Taner Simoneaux, Angelique Oncale and Elmo Simoneaux; one great-grandson who was honored to call her "Maw-Maw BeBe," Landen Alleman Simoneaux; and many nieces, nephews, and special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Bailey Sr. and Angelique Acosta Bailey; two brothers, Huey Bailey Sr. and Frank Bailey Jr. She retired from Assumption Parish School System, but continued giving her services by teaching Bible School. She was president of the Immaculate Conception Altar Society for many years and a member of the red hats society, which she thoroughly enjoyed. She was also a Eucharistic minister and an active member of the committee to restore Immaculate Conception Church after it was damaged in Hurricane Andrew. She was so proud to host the crowning of the Virgin Mary at Immaculate Conception Church where local kids were involved. After retirement, she and George spent time traveling, crabbing on Lake Verret, and spending time with family and friends. She was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Landry's Funeral Home in Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements. ======================
