Pace, 73, a resident of Church Point, passed away at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14, 2013, at her residence. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 8 a.m. until funeral time Friday at Delhomme Funeral Home in Lafayette. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Deacon Art Bakeler of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Quinton and Frankie Noriega, Randy Trosclair, Sammie Thibodaux, Clint Matherne and Timmy Nelton. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Johnnie R. Pace; daughters, Vickie M. Noel and husband, Jim, and Paula A. Dupre and husband, Jerry; sons, Albert J. Noriega and wife, Susie; five grandchildren, Whitney, Randy, Quinton, Frankie and Sammie; four great-grandchildren; sister, Emmadelle Chafin; and brother, John Matherne. She was preceded in death by her parents, Warner J. Matherne and Mineola M. Hebert Matherne; sisters, Anna Mae Nelton and Alea Dupre; and brother, Oliver Matherne. Rosalie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. Her love for her children and family were most important to her and she was a caretaker for many in her family. Her love of life was evident. Delhomme Funeral Home in Lafayette is in charge of funeral arrangements. ======================
