Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. Friday at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church followed by a rosary recitation at 3 p.m. A funeral Mass will follow at 3:30 p.m. with Father Brian Kaskie officiating. He was the son of W.C. Price Jr. and Edna Greer Brabham. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eileen Gravois Price; and a son, Jackson Greer Price. He is survived by sons, William Price and John Paul Price (U.S.Navy in Japan); wife, Chelsea of McComb, Miss.; daughters, Maria Price of Nashville, Tenn., Anna, Mary Margaret and Teresa Price of McComb, Miss.; brothers, Dan Price and wife, Jerolyn, of Pricedale, Miss., and John Stephen Price and Belinda of Summit, Miss.; sister, Lynn Price Gatlin of Fair Place, S.C.; granddaughter, Samantha Price; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Jack was always there to offer a smile and give you advice. He was a lover of bad jokes and always shared them with anyone he could. His wit and humor were what made him so special. Jack was an avid listener and player of music and faithfully listened to Prairie Home Companion every Saturday night. He was loyal to his family and loved without reserve. He loved canoeing and spending time on the river with his family and best buddy. Jack will be dearly missed by his community of friends and family, and especially by his six children. Pallbearers will be Cory Price, John Paul Price, Will Price, Michael Artigues, Jason Tate and Matthew Dunaway. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Price, Dan Price, Daniel Hebert and Paige Gaddis. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Alphonsus Catholic School in McComb, Miss. ======================
