Rodney "Brother" John Rodrigue Jr., 45, a native and resident of Chackbay, 
passed away Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013. 

Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Thibodaux 
Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral 
home 

with burial in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery in Chackbay. 

He is survived by his mother, Lorita Percle Rodrigue; father, Rodney Rodrigue 
Sr.; sisters, Susan (Eddie) Martinez, Janet (Karl) Loupe, Kathy (Paul III) 
LaGraize, Laura (David) Verdun, Rhonda (Dedric) Rodrigue and Rita (William) 
Carrier; and nephews and nieces, Rowdy Martinez, Marsha Champagne, Lindsey, 
Hailey, and Eric Verdun, Andrew and Katie Rodrigue, Jake Carrier, Jared and 
Karla (godchild) Loupe, Elijah Rodrigue, and Paul IV, Derek, and Drew LaGraize. 

He was preceded in death by his brother, Dale Rodrigue; grandparents, Clay and 
Rita Percle, and O.P. and Louise Rodrigue. 

He was a butcher by trade and enjoyed farming, gardening, and watching 
football. He was a very giving person with a huge heart. He will be missed by 
many. 

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
