The Rev. Ozana Solomon, 69, a native of Klotzville and resident of 
Paincourtville, died Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013. 

Visitation will be from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Friday at Williams and Southall Funeral 
Home in Napoleonville and from 8 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Virginia 
Baptist Church in Ewellville. 

He is survived by his wife, Annie Solomon, of Paincourtville; daughters, 
Sherlonda Thompson, of Houston, Texas, Latanya (Joseph Sr.) Hearney, Kashona 
Solomon, of New Orleans, and Elesha Solomon, of Paincourtville; sons, Joseph 
Thompson, of Houston, Texas, Anthony Solomon, of Momence, Ill., and Ozana 
Solomon Jr., of Illinois; brothers, Julius Solomon, of Philadelphia, Pa., Rene 
Solomon, of Baton Rouge, and Charles and Joseph Solomon, of Klotzville; and 25 
grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ozama and Emma Jones Solomon; son, 
Andre Solomon; sister, Norma Lee Brown; and one grandson. 

Williams and Southall Funeral Home in Napoleonville is in charge of 
arrangements.
