Mary M. Terrebonne, 74, a native of Venice and resident of Galliano, died at 8 
a.m. Friday, Oct. 4, 2013. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at Our Lady of Prompt 
Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 
11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, 

with burial in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church cemetery in Golden 
Meadow. 

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Alton Terrebonne Sr.; sons, Alton 
"Boy" Jr. and Kevin Terrebonne Sr.; daughters, Shiela Tribe, Deborah Creppel, 
Karen Griffin, Katherine Terrebonne, Donna Terrebonne and Robin Treadway; 
brothers, Preston and Jessie Morris; sister, Lydia "Lee" Morris; 28 
grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Emily Richard Morris; father, Andrew 
Morris; stepmother, Alma Victoria Morris; son, Steven Joseph Terrebonne; 
brother, Charles Verdin; and sisters, Virgie Morris, Yolanda Morris and Dorothy 
Bourgeois. 

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off is in charge of arrangements.
