Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2013/f1310.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Norma Jean Eschette Autin Wadin, 72, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Denham Springs, died Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at Chauvin Funeral Home with the Rosary being recited at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Visitation will continue from 8:30 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Houma, with burial in Holy Rosary Catholic Church cemetery in Houma. She is survived by her devoted husband, Mike Wadin: sons, Paul Autin and partner, Tony Babin, Michael Autin, Malcolm and wife, Donna Autin, Brian and wife, Julie Autin, and a daughter, Dawn Autin, and partner, Megan Keating. Her legacy will live on through her nine grandchildren and six great-grand children, who were the loves of her life. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Paul Autin Sr.: her parents, Dorina Lebeouf Eschette and Malcolm Paul Eschette: and brothers, Manuel Paul Eschette and Kenneth "Winky" Eschette. She was a beautiful, kind woman who will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Norma was a loving mother and took great joy in cooking for her children and grandchildren. She had a unique way of making everyone feel special. Norma and Mike Wadin were the former owners of Norma's Kitchen in Houma. Her dream was to "feed all who are hungry."
