Eugene "E.P." Paul Zeringue Sr., 82, a native and resident of St. Charles 
community, Thibodaux, died Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at St. Charles 
Borromeo Catholic Church in Thibodaux. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 
a.m. Thursday at the church, 

with burial in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church cemetery in Thibodaux. 

He is survived by his wife, Eva Rosa "Judy" Zeringue; sons, Jerome P. Zeringue 
Sr. and wife, Andrea, and Eugene "Paul" Zeringue Jr. and wife, Rhonda; 
daughters, Gena Z. Rumore, Angela L. Zeringue, Odelia "Dilly" Voclain and Mary 
"Karen" Zeringue; adopted children, Jerome P. Zeringue Jr., Michelle Zeringue, 
Stephanie Zeringue and Susan Zeringue; sister, Ruth Z. Folse; 31 grandchildren; 
and 35 great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Adrian Zeringue and Judith B. 
Zeringue; brothers, Pierre "Noby", Kenneth and Andrew Zeringue; sister, Hazel 
Z. Legendre; and grandchildren, Jill Vaughn, Christopher Dantin Jr. Mandy R. 
Zeringue and Chad M. Zeringue. 

He was a military veteran who loved the outdoors. He was a very hard-working, 
honest man. who loved his garden and his dog, Missy. 

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
