Visitation will be held in his honor from 8 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at Saint Philomena Catholic Church in Labadieville. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in Saint Philomena Catholic Church cemetery in Labadieville. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Catherine Cancienne Arcement; five loving children, Curt Arcement and wife, Stephanie, Holly Arcement Griggs and husband, Michael, Lacy Arcement Baudoin, Jenny Arcement Templet and husband, Jean, and Janna Arcement Bouvier and husband, Henry; brothers, Michael and James Arcement; sister, Susan Arcement; and eight wonderful grandchildren, Emily Arcement, Cailun Griggs, Logan Baudoin, Gracie Templet, Jolie Templet, Emma Bouvier, Jacob Bouvier and Matthew Bouvier. He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester Arcement Sr. and Dorothy Gros Arcement. For many years he worked for Glenwood, Fabco, and Low Land Construction Company as a contract welder. After retiring last April, he began working for Boudreaux Enterprises where he really enjoyed driving tractors and helping on the sugarcane farm. Landry's Funeral Home in Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements. ======================
