Edward "Petesie" Joseph Authement Jr., 66, a native and resident of Houma, died 
Monday, Nov. 25, 2013. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at Samart Funeral 
Home in Houma. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral 
home, 

with burial in Rogers Cemetery. 

He is survived by his wife, Sinda Authement; son, Jason Authement and wife, 
Brandy; daughters, Lisa Ann Soileau and husband, Michael, and Kristi Ann Foret; 
sisters, Helen Labit and Judy Labit; brother, Andrew Authement; and 
grandchildren, Michael Soileau, Jeffrey Soileau, Justin Traweek, Ariana 
Authement, Kami Traweek, Alyassa Traweek, Edward Traweek, Jackson Authement and 
Lucie Authement. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Authement Sr.; mother, Ruth 
Authement; grandchild, Hunter Authement; and son-in-law, Emile Foret. 

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
