Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Thibodaux. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church cemetery in Thibodaux. He is survived by his wife, Marie Benoit; sons, David Benoit and wife, Janet, and Chris Benoit and wife, Carmen; daughter, Linda Reulet and husband, Wendell; brothers, Johnny and Norman Benoit; sisters, Carol Lagarde, Yvonne LeBlanc and Ruth Boudreaux; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Edmae Benoit; and great- grandchild, Luke Simoneaux. He was a founding member of the St. John Volunteer Fire Department and an usher at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church. He was retired from Amerigas. Landry's Funeral Home in Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements ======================
