He was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Gray, LA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Thursday, November 21, 2013 from 8:00am to 10:30am at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at 10:30am at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc.. Burial: Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. He is survived by his, Son: Michael James Bonvillain, Daughters: Christine Bonvillain Elfer and husband Mark, Terri Bonvillain Straley and husband Chris, and Phyllis Bonvillain, He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild, Sisters: Betty Oliver, Carol Blanchard, and Ruth Scurto. He was preceded in death by his, Spouse: Joyce Picou Bonvillain, Parents: Burdy Bonvillain and Mabel Bergeron Bonvillain, Son: Harold Joseph Bonvillain, Jr., Daughter: Diane Mary Bonvillain, Brothers: John, George and Ray Bonvillain, and Sister: Laura Bonvillain Daigle. He was a great adventurer! He was an ultra-lite pilot, sea plane pilot, a musician who could play most instruments, a carpenter, and many would describe as a jack of all trades. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. ======================
