He was a native and resident of Bayou Black , LA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 from 8:00 AM until service time at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Burial: Bayou Black Cemetery. He is survived by his son, Craig James Breaux, daughters, Peggy Breaux Kraemer, Nancy Breaux Bonvillain and husband O'Neill, eleven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, brother, Floyd Breaux, sister, Kate Hozenthails. He was preceded in death by his wife,Elsie Ira Crowson Breaux, sons, Rivers "Tony" Breaux, Jr., Robert Patrick Breaux, Charles Frederick Breaux, parents, Rivers F. Breaux and Ruby B. Breaux, brother, Huey Breaux, sister, Sylvia Tierney. He was a parishioner and lector of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. He was a member of the St. Anthony Usher Society. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. He retired from Texaco as a Production Superintendent. He was one of the founders of the Bayou Black Volunteer Fire Department, Past Chairman of Recreation for Bayou Black and past Chairman of the Bayou Black Cemetery Committee U.S. Veteran ======================
