Marie Daigle Dufrene, 87, a native and resident of Lockport, passed away at 
3:20 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 28, 2013. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Monday at Holy Savior 
Catholic Church in Lockport. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. 
Monday at the church, 

with burial in Holy Savior Catholic Church cemetery in Lockport. 

She is survived by her sons, George Dufrene Jr. and wife, Yola Jean, Lonnie 
Dufrene and wife, Jesica, and Wayne Dufrene; daughters, Cynthia Walk and 
husband, Michael, Brenda Cheramie and Geraldine Janes and husband, Doyt; son-
in-law, Norman Robichaux; 18 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-
great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Dufrene Sr.; daughters, Marie 
Robichaux, Gwen Plaisance and husband, Lawrence Jr. and Gaylia Dufrene; 
parents, Joseph and Marie Pichoff Daigle; brother, Antoine Daigle; and sister, 
Theresa Daigle. 

Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
