Luis Garcia, 68, a native of Arecibo, Puerto Rico, and resident of Thibodaux, 
died Saturday Nov. 16, 2013. 

He was born April 2, 1945. Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until funeral time 
Friday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Chackbay. A Mass of 
Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, 

with burial in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church cemetery in Chackbay. 

He is survived by his wife, Rose Garcia; one stepson; 10 brothers and sisters; 
three step-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Viccorio Soto Garcia and Margarita 
Serrano Rivera; and one sister. 

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
