Thomas Anthony Garess, 53, a native of Galveston, Texas, and resident of Denham 
Springs, died at 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, 2013, in Our Lady of the Lake Hospital 
of cancer. 

Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Clanton Chapel United Methodist 
Church in Dulac. 

He is survived by his fiancee, Shirley Dehart; daughters, Casey Johansen and 
husband, Kyle, Kelly LeBouef and husband, Willie, Chantelle LeBoeuf and 
husband, Travis, Tanya Verdin and husband, Shawn, Nikki Martin and Stephanie 
S.; stepdaughters, Heather and Macy Breaux and Holly Verdin; stepson, C.J. 
Breaux; sister, Jacquelyn Pylers JeHon; brothers, Randell Garess Jr., Kenneth 
Pylers and Ronnie Pylers; and 12 grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Edna Hammonds Garess; and brother, 
Douglas Pylers. 

Church Funeral Services in St. Amant is in charge of arrangements.
