Ida P. Hebert, 92, a native of Chackbay and resident of Thibodaux, died at 4:40 
a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at St. Genevieve 
Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the 
church, 

with burial in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery in Chackbay.

She was the mother of Nolan J. Hebert Jr. and mother-in-law to Emmalene K. 
Hebert. She is survived by three grandsons, John, Len and Time Hebert and their 
spouses; and two great-grandchildren, Beau H. Hebert and Taylee Mae Hebert.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Julia Chaisson Peltier and Pierre 
Peltier; brothers, Walter, Wallace and Oleus Peltier; sisters, Celeste Peltier 
and Marie P. Hebert Clement; and former husband, Nolan Hebert Sr.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
