Born February 12, 1934 Died November 10, 2013 Harris Paul Henry Sr. died Sunday, November 10, 2013 at 8:00PM. He was a native of Terrebonne Parish, and resident of Houma, La. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 from 6:00PM-9:00PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Thursday, November 14, 2012 from 9:00AM-11:00AM at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Burial will be held at Bayou Black Cemetery. He is survived by four daughters: Debra Henry Adams, Houma; Roxanne Henry Thibodeaux and husband Stephen of Houma; Jennifer Henry Pitre and husband Lawrence of Thibodaux; Donna Henry of Houma; two sons: Harris Henry Jr. and wife Gaylynn of Houma; Patrick Henry and wife Cynthia of Raceland: one sister Lelia H. Guidry of Houma: 20 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Judith Breaux Henry, one son Julian Harris Henry, his parents Helen Brunet Henry and Lenist Paul Henry, two brothers: Delvin Henry and Floyd Henry, and one son in law, Donald Adams. He was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. He worked for Terrebonne Parish School Board, Terrebonne Consolidated Government, Delta Services, Inc., Chromolloy, Delta Iron Works and Luke Construction. He served as a United States Marine. He was a caring and loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend. He always had an inspirational message in his stories and jokes. He will be missed by all.
